Echo, is a small medetative place design. Located in the Sillschlucht/Innsbruck it reacts to its surrounding to create small medetative enviroment in the wild.
The surface of the building is perforated with holes which serve as light and sound intake points. The light is projected on a shaped translucent membrane which forms the interior of the building, and creates a glowing atmosphere which constantly changes throughout the day.
The site is underneath a stream, which drips down a stone cliff. There are pipes located near the dreaping points, and few others leading to a different ambient sound sources which create a distoted ambience sound inside the building. the sound chanels can be closed from inside so one can adjust the noise level and noise kind.
